The purpose of the Animal Rescue Kingdom, The ARK, is to rescue
  abandoned or abused dogs and cats and bring them to the safety of our 9-
  acre sanctuary. 

  Here they are fed and given medical treatment if needed.  At a later date they
  are neutered.  Even though their life at The ARK is ideal, we hope to find homes
  with caring and loving people. But if they are not adopted, The ARK with its
  well-trained staff will care for them for life.

  The ARK also works with Lanna Dog Rescue in their programs of sterilization
  at Wats in Chiang Mai and surrounding towns.


 

  With all charitable organizations, The ARK needs funds to carry on its work.
  At present most of the money comes from its founder, Grant Waldman, but his
  funds are limited and more is needed.  If you like to make a contribution,
  no matter how small, it would be gratefully accepted.
